Modernist Carnelian Ring Size 7 Sterling Silver

This gorgeous vintage ring is sterling silver with a large, 20mm faceted carnelian stone.
It looks like parts of this ring were either gold vermeil or that its developing a rich golden patina. I didn't polish it.
The face of this ring measures 7/8 of an inch north to south with a rise of 10mm off the finger.

Assayers marks - one is a bird head with 925. I can't make out the other.
Excellent condition.
